About Us

Our mission is to not only equip your child with life skills and how to manage learning difficulties, but also to offer every child the opportunity for success at school through individualized assistance and guidance.

Cristin French, founder of Learning Solutions by Design, LLC, is an educational therapist, a teacher, and a parent. Cristin has done undergraduate studies at Virginia Tech, her teaching licensing at Averett University, her masters in reading at the University of Virginia, and is currently all but dissertation in educational psychology.

Cristin has had classroom teaching experience at elementary, middle, and high school levels in public and private schools. Her most powerful experiences, though, have come from being the parent of two children with their own medical and learning difficulties. Her drive to help children and offer them a chance to succeed stems directly from her constant search for assistance for her own children.

Cristin’s vast experience with all age groups and all kinds of learners, as well as her family experience of searching for answers, has led her to be a strong advocate for children with various learning difficulties.
